A young trader buys stock during an IPO because the company is getting a lot of publicity. At first, the initial bid price rises quickly. Some investors think the stock price is too high because of over inflation of the initial stock price. Later, the price drops, and many people panic. A qualified fund manager tells clients to look at economic trends, company transparency, and long-term stability before making decisions.
